thanks tungee! I just used an exr image for environment lighting. Reinhard tonemapping, pre1.0 post 3.0 burn factor 0.5.

About glass reflection, what changes it; the exponent value? or the IOR? In other words, what sould I look for in the XML?

thanks in advance! :D

heheheh, I noticed! I was about to post my glass material just in case:

Code: Select all

<material>
		<name>glass02</name>
		<specular>
			<ior>1.500</ior>
			<transparent>true</transparent>
			<cauchy_b_coeff>0.000</cauchy_b_coeff>
			<rgb_absorptivity>0.000 0.701 0.701</rgb_absorptivity>
		</specular>
	</material>
but saw no options for reflection, which usually is tweaked thru the exponent value in other materials. :wink:

but thanks for all the C&C.

Isn't there a fresnel related tag you can use to lower the reflection?
