Broken World (WIP)
Broken World (WIP)
Here is another small project, i was working on yesterday, i was really down, and in a bad mood, so i tried to get my feelings into this scene.
this is not finished yet, i i hope you got some suggestion about the color, or some things, that don't fit in.
greetings
Colezero

cool image colezero.
color choice is good. but i would work on the lighting and camera.
lighting: something interesting - not as uniform as it is now. maybe a glowing heart which illuminates
everthing else (not so easy to achieve tho).
camera: i wouldn't cut the models head off
perhaps you find a more interesting camera-angle ... maybe
the camera near the ground and by the heart so that the "you"(the grey guy) is further away - hmm
dont know - but worth a try. oh ... nearly forgot ... give him normal-smoothing. (and perhaps two sad-looking eyes)
this scene have potential!
keep it up.

The concept is great. I think maybe you should make the background/floor darker than the model and bench. And I think putting the broken heart into a soft spotlight would be cool. Just my two-pence

@manitwo:
Instead of sad eyes, i could use sad eyebrows. oh and yes, i didn't pushed the smooth-button^^.
@DaveC:
Yeah the lighting isn't very good. there is alot of work todo.
I'll try to get some focus on the heart, maybe by a light or by glowing.
@all:
big thx, both of you.
yep, this is a good idea, i'll put the camera near the ground, as you said, with DoF. The problem is, i need to find some angle, where you can still see the heart and the sadness of the guy.maybe

Here are some other camera positions. i don't know, but i don't like the first one, i like the second one, and the third one, but do you still cognize the heart as a heart? Or the sad man as a sad man?

I'm going to work with the second one, the behind-view.
and i got another idea:
The guy is holding a single flower, which is wilted and one or two leaves are falling down, i don't know....maybe this is to much emo...is it to much?
is there a way to combine a meshlight with background/sky -lighting?
iam using Blendigo 0.7 Beta4, and it seems that the Dof isn't working.
Iam using the right distance, a f-stop value of 32 and i deactivated the 'autofocus'. But i don't get DoF..?

it's the inverse : to get dof effect you need smaller f-stop values (the smaller f-stop --> the more dof effect)a f-stop value of 32

I wasn't clear : more dof doesn't mean "more blur effect", but rather "more stuff is in the focus".
So in order to get more "blur effect", you need less dof.
Well, this explanation sounds a little messy, but you get the idea...

The exporter is right.
