to me the coins look like they are HUGE, probably because of your floor texture.
I think changing the floor to be more like a wooden desktop textuere, or a paper texture or something, along with a little DOF would help the believability (is that even a word?) of this scene.

Right now, even though the materials look about right my eye doesn't quite believe what it's seeing due to the realtive scaling of the floor texture

They do look huge. It would also be quite cool if the textures weren't just image maps. There's no bumpiness to them.

Or just make the tiles wider...

Yes... would be nice to see bumpmaping with gold and silver.nk (although it doesn't really look like gold+silver...)

If you use DoF, you also can hide this problem with the two coins, with the number-side up: They're looking identical!

Thanks for their observations, Increase the tiles, change to the light to sun dof is not appraised being a very near Vista, as I can reduce the rank of which this in center, (I have fstop in 1 and I do not have To pressed and defocusing in the currencies is not even seen)

sorry... didn't really get, what you mean... english plz ;)
f-stop should be as high as possible form much DoF...
At least Blendigo-tooltip says so...
The floor isn't really better...
It looks like big stones
search for a more wood-like map or strongly increase the scale of the texture! all the coins can be on a single stone!
maybe you need a higher res tex...
this one is blurry and the colours aren't plaed correctly...

Yes, I have some probs with f-stop too...
1 => nearly black... So I think, apertude is much too small...
64 (max) => enough light but not even a bit DoF... :?:

Check your scene scale and use greater f-stop (should get quite good defocusing with 2.8 - lets way more light in than 10)
