Here a WIP from my new proj.
I got the idea by playing with Blender's Sculp Mode and SSS.

Can you add a real Sting in the end of the Scorpio's Tail?
Also, brains usually are grey ;)
Hmmm.... this is from Wikipedia. It looks yellowish, for some reason !?

Yuck.. that creature is disgusting looking :)

is the brain IOR=1?
While that's good for viewing the SSS effect, it's not very realistic, as it means there is no surface reflection.

My reference was to the movie Starship Troopers by Paul Verhoeven (click the first link of the article, it's not parsed by BBcode).


If you haven't sawn it yet I strongly recommend it, if you like sci-fi at least.
