Engine exhaust material?

Would it be possible to create somethign like this in indigo? Like emitting smoke?

There is a smoke material in the database if thats what you're looking for...

Use a light and enclose your scene (or maybe just the area around the exhaust) in a cube with very light uniform SSS.
