I assigned as simple jpeg map to a flat face. It wouldn't even render until I set Albedo to external (I guess im used to the old skindigo).. I used the texture position tool to scale and position it (it's for a painting in my scene.) When I rendered it, however, it looked completely off. It was all small and tiled..
Re: Textures
You shouldn't have to set the albedo to external for it to render. Which version of SkIndigo are you using?neo0. wrote:I assigned as simple jpeg map to a flat face. You didn't have the texture on the back-face did you?
Re: Textures
Im using v2.0.4. What's basically going on is that the texture rendered in indigo is a completely different size than the texture in sketchup..
When I set the albedo to none, it just renders as a color map..
On a different note, it says that albedo is basically equal to the diffuse channel of other renderers. If you have a diffuse material with no albedo, isn't that basically a diffuse without any diffuse?

Re: Textures
I fixed some texture position issues in 2.0.8. Why don't you download 2.0.12 since there have been lots of bugfixes since 2.0.4.neo0. wrote:Im using v2.0.4. What's basically going on is that the texture rendered in indigo is a completely different size than the texture in sketchup..

When you change albedo to none, you are changing the MAP to none. Therefore, a texture map will not be used for albedo, just the plain color.
Re: Textures
Ah, I see what you mean. Well, that fixed it. All I had to do was remake the material.
