Fatal Error Mesh with Name Already Defined.

Post by Krisidious » Fri Mar 06, 2009 9:37 am

I'm getting an error when exporting a few of my models to Indigo

they are all related errors... consisting of
IndigoDriverExcep:SceneLoaderExcep: Mesh with name 'Color_000' already defined; mesh names must be unique. (in element 'mesh', around line 331480,column 9)
I realize that the error is nice enough to point out where the problem is... the only problem is I can't find this element called "mesh"

any help?

side note? what is a "degenerate triangle"?

for some reason Sketchup will let you have two materials with the same name, but it throws that error up. check through your mats and make sure they are all uniquely named.

thank you Crojack... that fixed it.

I went into the material library and changed it to list view, then edited the materials that had identical names. that fixed all the errors.

appreciate the time.
