be aware...

The uninstall process for previous releases will delete any user-created or user-modified files stored in LayOut's Default Templates or Default Scrapbooks folders. If you want to keep these files when uninstalling a previous version, navigate to the C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Google\Google SketchUp6 directory, and move the appropriate scrapbook and template files to a different folder. You can move them back to their original directory after you have completed the uninstall process.

When you upgrade to the latest release, you will lose any changes that you've made with LayOut's Customize Toolbar function (new toolbars, customized icons, etc). You will also lose any customizations you may have made to the Tray system (the Windows on the right side of the screen). Unfortunately, there is no workaround for this.

It is only a service release for bug fixing. After installation, works fine for me. Skindigo latest version has no problems.

anyone notice any weird stuff happening with the new version?

I've had situations where having an exit portal in a scene caused the room to emit omni directional lighting. Removing the exit portal made the sun come into the room as normal. And having the exit portal half open allowed sun into the room
