Tutorial: How to change default render settings

Post by Whaat » Tue Jul 31, 2007 3:28 am

1. Create a new scene
2. Change your render settings to your new defaults.
3. Change your environment map settings to your new defaults.
4. Save the SKP into the SketchUp/Templates directory.
5. Go to Window->Preferences->Template
6. Browse for your newly created template.

All new SU files will now use your custom defaults.

I don't know if I'll need to change the defaults, but just wanted to say what a great and intuitive way to do this. really keeping in line with your philosophy of the exporter. Thanks!!
actually now that I think about it, I can do this and not have to keep changing the image size!

we're a lazy bunch aren't we :roll:
