Welcome to the Forum dude!

Indigo isn't about Speed but about quality, so you will allways need to render a longer than by the most other render engines!

uhmmm.... Indigo is never finished with your render!!!
its done at the moment you close it! perhaps you played around with the halt time
(time in seconds after Indigo stops, set it to -1 (default) and it never stops).

as usual for a first time posting you are giving us not very much information... :?
no Rig information, no example image of you problem and no render times or log output

finally here some hints to speed up your renderings:
- use MLT with BIDir mode
- Use Hybrid mode
- you can resume a closed rendering if you enabled igi saving!
just check this little tool that will make it a easy task.
- if you have a second computer on your network, use network rendering,
or via hamachi network rendering over the internet!
- take indigo with your exported Project files with you, so you can render (using resume)
on the (fast) PC's of your friends you are visiting while having a Beer
- buy a new CPU

I hope this somehow helped...

+1 more.....and it's pretty obvious - if you want a quick preview, then just render at a tiny resolution ie 200x150 but not too small otherwise things go a bit wonky.

Another tip for previews is to only render the objects that you want in the preview. With Sketchup you can render just the objects that are currently selected. So, turn on shadows to enable the sun, select the object you want to preview and then export your model. When asked 'Export Selection Only?' click 'Yes'.
