have to explode components?

Post by crazybelgian » Thu Apr 19, 2007 1:12 am

Hi,
I found out that I need to explode a lot of the components in my models for them to render at all. If I don't they dissapear completely...
However, when I copy the component in a new drawing, it will render just fine (as long as it is the only object in the file)
Is that normal? It's not a huge deal, but a little annoying if I want to move those components around later on.
Great renderer though!

I don't understand why you would have to do this. Have you tried exporting to Kerkythea? SkIndigo is based on the Kerkythea exporter. I'd be curious to know if the components disappear using the SU2KT exporter as well. If so, we have at least eliminated the possibility that it is an Indigo bug.

This seems to be an issue in Kerkythea as well but it looks like there is a simple solution. Make sure Layer 0 is turned on before you export. This information is from the following post:
