lorom,
The material editor looks fine to me!
Check your private messages. I will send you a special test version of SkIndigo.

now i've installed 104, when i hit preview indigo opens and renders the mat.
i just tried a different mat. and got a message "thumbnail path not found. preview aborted"?

oops, wrong again.
here's what i found: i have a table component, if i open that .skp file i can preview materials; but if i open my house .skp with the table component inside of it and try to preview the same material off the table i get the "thumbnail path not found. preview aborted" message.
any thoughts?

Great! Which version are you referring to? The one posted in this thread or the one that I sent you with the private message??

Dump, that I steal you that option, now, but when you're the last poster, you can press the "x" in order to erase that last post...

If the thumbnail path is not found, you must manually edit the thumbnail path to a valid path. You might have changed your directory structure or folder names so that SkIndigo can no longer find the thumbnail folder. Just edit the path manually to wherever you want your thumbnails to be saved and it should work.
Aperture diffraction is explained in the announcement for the release of Indigo 1.0.4. A forum search would have answered this question as well.
