skindogo for mac

Post by moeses » Wed Jul 15, 2009 3:37 pm

Hey guys,

I was wondering if there is a version of skindigo for the mac. my problem is that i have parralels but not a sketchup license for it. only on the mac side. I was kind of considering to get 3dsmax design along with revits, but it they won't run through a virtual machine(parallels). that would mean that i would have to run it through bootcamp and purchase another license for windows vista. don't want to do that. the only semi decent redering program compatible with sketchup on the mac (at least what i've found) is artlantis, but from what i can tell it doesn't really compare to skindigo.

my options are as i know it..(unless someone can help)...

-purchase artlantis for the mac
-get another license of vista on bootcamp and use autodesk revits and 3dsmax design(looks awesome but only temporary if i dont want to spend a fortune; why i stuck with sketchup in the first place)
-or if there is someway to get it on my mac! any help please! will it even work on parallels; and would it be worth it to get another sketchup license.
-if all else fails does anyone know of any other rendering programs for sketchup that are compatible with the mac? Any advice? Thanks greatly for your time :)

-rick

sketchup is available on the mac platform already and the skindigo plugin works on the pro or free version of sketchup. whaat is currently updating the skindigo plugin to work on mac systems. the lastest skindigo release should be working now ... i havent heard of any problems on the mac platform.

Basically, SkIndigo 2.0 will be 100% Mac compatible. Right now, there are still some bugs to sort out but it works very well already (i.e SkIndigo 2.0.8). Just wait another week or two and I will release a new version that will be even better.

There is a beta of Indigo 2.0 for Mac that is available for download.

Don't even think about getting another rendering app! Nothing will compare! :)
