Hi all,
Sometimes I feel the need to change or add a parameter in the generated .xml file (for instance to add a parameter that skindigo doesn't support (yet)).
The generated .xml files are very large (over 9 Mb) because of all the geometry data and difficult to open with notepad.
What would be the best editing tool to use with those big files?
..And second question:
How can I quickly find the section where I want to change or add a setting?
Thanks,
kwistenbiebel
How to edit the (big) .xml files ?

Double .xml filesWhaat wrote:The next version of SkIndigo will allow you to generate two XML files, one with your geometry (large file) and one with your material, environment and camera settings. This makes it much easier to edit your settings using Notepad or any other program for that matter.

Again Whaat, it is astonishing how well you develop this plugin from a users point. Very intelligent approach.
Keep it up!
BTW, Maxwell is releasing a new version of their handicapped SU-plugin next week.
I guess they felt the heat from competitors like Indigo.
