WOOHOO! Thanks, still no export setting for 4 threads (but I added it myself in your script). I'm playing with it now! Again thank you! I hope to post something soon. I'm remodelling my office interior now and since we now also know which furniture will be in it, I can model that as well.

Peer,

I could have easily added this option to the script. The reason I didn't is because I don't know very much about multicore CPUs and multi-threading. I was concerned that increasing the number of threads might cause some systems to crash. If anyone wants to try increasing the number of threads used in the render (to 4 for example) simply modify the line in the script that reads

th_choices=%w[1 2].join("|")

to

th_choices=%w[1 2 3 4].join("|")

This should do the trick. If no one reports any problems with this, I will incorporate this into the next update of the script.

On my Macpro I don't have any problems with it, but I don't know if it works OK on a native Windows machine.

Thanks Again!

Yes it is possible for the script to be modified to incorporate animation but I have no plans to do so. I don't think there are many people who want to wait weeks for a five second animation. You should look into Kerkythea if you are looking for a free Sketchup Renderer that does animation.
