lol. Their site implies that plugin is already available. That's deceptive advertising in my book.

Maxwell, Fryrender and Thearender either have, or have announced, exporters for modo. Indigo seems to be the only paid unbiased renderer that has not.

Hm.
I agree that Modo should be supported, if someone could be found.
But where?

I suggest to introduce the modo community to Indigo. One well-placed post and go go modigo !

I also expect one mode license so I can start learning using it and then transfer my knowledge to students, so it will be nice to tell theme that as they have learn Indigo they can use it not only in Sketchup, 3D Studio and Blender but also in Modo.

Hello all,
I've mailed with Nick on this topic and I'm ready to start working on modo exporter. I'm waiting for some help with getting modo SDK. Also, as I'm not a real modo user I'll hope for some help in making exporter user friendly.
Future is looking bright
Cheers,

I have considered getting a modo license and have played around with a trial about three years ago. From what I can remember I believe that for much of the work flow modo would not really be soooo different from Blender.
Looking at Blender and Blendigo should provide you with an excellent starting point.

A Modo exporter is highly desirable now.
Modo 701 is a truly outstanding piece of software.
Thanks!

BTW, Luxology is running a two-days 40% discount offer on new Modo licenses, also a great opportunity to upgrade to 701.
