The "Real Time preview" window does not match the OpenGL; also rendering in the viewport is not the same. The project texture change is not updated.
Bugs of texture?

C4D R13 (v13.061) + Cindigo 4.0.43.2 + Indigo 4.0.42

PS. Now tried again with an empty stage and new object the problem does not appear, however, the new material is NOT saved.

Indigo for Cinema 4D 4.0.43.2

Post by zeitmeister » Thu Aug 18, 2016 6:14 pm

Spatial texture mapping is not recognized by Indigo!
Only these mapping types are seamlessy integrated: Spherical-, cylindrical-, box-, planar- and UV-mapping.
For all other mapping types you have to create a new UV-map. Try to delete the UV-tag from the sphere, mark the Material tag and choose from the menu "create UV coordinates".
If the material tag now shows "UV mapping" instead of "spatial" and it looks the same, everything is fine.
If not, even C4D can't bake these UVs, and so Indigo won't, too.

Since the v4 builds camera mapping will get transformed to good UVs too and there for work as well 8)

Hi

Flat, Frontal and Spatial work fine and are rendered by Indigo. Maybe it's a sporadic problem in some settings block that are not updated, in fact at a later time it all seemed to work. Or maybe it's a problem of the object sphere? Other objects are rendered and updated in exchange for mapping.

Yeah I would also say the problem is that you are using Indigo's perfect sphere. Try unchecking "perfect" on the sphere.

Last time I tried all types of texture mapping worked. According to ZomB I fixed some sort of bug there. It's possible. :)

Hi

I would like to report a problem that appears when you activate the Indigo Tags subdivision function. It seems to have an influence on the texture that appears with the artifacts. Removed the tags or by withdrawing to its qualities; the problem does not appear. Perhaps in these cases you should opt for the C4D HyperNURBS function? :(
