Cindigo 2.0.6 - beta
Re: Cindigo 2.0.6 - beta
There was a bug in the motion blur export. only the first and the last keyframe were exported correctly. all other frames were exported from the beginning of the animation. will upload new builds tomorrow.

more instancing tests, plane from colacola.se.
no idea how many instances (i have not implemented an instance counter yet
), but i guess somewhere around 15k?
edit: export time was about 2.6 seconds, plane has ~80k polygons
planes in circles give nice patterns

Re: Cindigo 2.0.6 - beta
fused, what do I see here; sorry for missing that point.
Are they the "ordinary" Cindigo instances, apart from your C4D instance plugin? Or are they the same?
The instances aren't being converted to meshes during export to Indigo, they are real Indigo instances, right?
Do you plan to merge the functionality of your C4D instance plugin with the Cindigo instances, or had this happened already?

no problemzeitmeister wrote:fused, what do I see here; sorry for missing that point.
The 'editor instance' plugin was originally a further developed 'indigo instance' for cindigo, but some wanted it as a sperate plugin, so i gave them what they wantedzeitmeister wrote:Are they the "ordinary" Cindigo instances, apart from your C4D instance plugin? Or are they the same?
Yes. They are not exported as seperate meshes, but as real instances. Also, the instance object is not converted to mesh objects on export (that would normally happen with c4d instances and the editor instance plugin). saves some ram and time.zeitmeister wrote:The instances aren't being converted to meshes during export to Indigo, they are real Indigo instances, right?
Happened alreadyzeitmeister wrote:Do you plan to merge the functionality of your C4D instance plugin with the Cindigo instances, or had this happened already?
note that 'editor instance' objects will not be exported as real instances. the suppression of the conversion to meshes on export works only in the 'indigo instance' that comes with cindigo.
