That's too bad... I have a cindigo exporter for mac but it is too old (0.8.2) when compared with the new funcionalities that is... as for the pc version does it has any dependencies,.net framework, openEXR... I have a vanilla PC and Cinema doesn't load Cindigo...

hmmm... make sure you have the latest quicktime installed and if you have a 64-bit OS you have to use the 32-bit version of C4D

Indeed it lacks QT. I'm going to install and check. Thanks again

Hey fused... Maxon just released the 10.5 C++ SDK.
I don't know if this is interesting for you, and also have no clue about 10 vs 10.5 compatibility, but here is the link:
http://www.maxon.net/pages/support/plug ... ads_d.html
BTW:
An Idea why Cindigo needs the Quicktime PlugIn or refuses to load, would be maybe the PNG Icons you are using...
PNG Support in C4D is only available by having Quicktime installed, otherwise PNG Textures wont work too.
just an Idea

Okay, nothing to contribute here, but I just had some free time to install the new exporter and Indigo after not using it for a looong time, and I have to say that it is totally awesome ! Great integration, works like a charm. I didn´t get to test it on really complex scenes but what I can see I really like !!!

Hm, somehow when I set the scale correctly some objects are missing. Does anyone has a clue what I might be doing wrong/what I need to check? When the objects are 10x of the original size (via global scale multiplier) everything works fine...

uploading the scene would be useful..
what you can check:
-if you use cm as unit in c4d, you have to set the global scale multiplier to 0.01 in cindigo.
-copy the missing object to a new scene and try again. (if it was made with a previous version of cindigo, and you installed a more recent one, this can lead to problems..)

I have used meters as unit, but setting to cm doesn't help either, doesn't seem to change anything.
I've tried copying the missing objects to a new scene, same problem. I will attach the new scene (renders quicker etc.).
Here is the new scene, with textures (without textures the rendering looks different... more stuff is working, but it's still weird).

ok, here i am..i checked your scene and found that:
- the scale was 0,001, the right one should be 0,01 (means 0,01 cinema centimeter=1 indigo meter)
-the phong mat (holz) is way too high.. in my pic it's ior 1,3 exponent 5000
ciao!

Hy, I've got the idea to try indigo together with cinema. I've downloaded Cindigo, the newest Quicktime and of course Indigo. I renamed the file, because I'm working with Cinema 10 and copied into the plug-in folder and... nothing...
I don't see any Tags, export functions or something else... What am I doing wrong?
Regards

Hm, but I didn't see any difference between 1 cinema cm and 1 cinema meter, they should be of different brightness I thought. Nevermind, I will leave it at 0,1

Thanks alot! And I will change the wood
@Azrael: Is it in the plugins directory? On my computer it looks like C:\Program Files\MAXON\CINEMA 4D R10\plugins\Cindigo 1.0.2
If you look under Plug-ins on the C4D menu there should be a Cindigo 1.0.2 thing.

Yes it is in this folder... I've watched the console... nothing..
I've tried Cindigo 0.8... It is working! But: Indigo 0.8 I've donloaded here is not working! The same with 0.7! Why is Cindigo 1.0.2 not working?

Which OS and which Cinema do you use? 32 or 64bit? Try 32bit. Should work fine, because quicktime lacks 64bit at this time, so I think this causes the incompability with natively running Cinema4D 64 bit
