export and run, plus texture copy doesn't work for me

but I am using C4D R10 :)

edit I see they are are to come in next version - ok :P
other than that seems to work fine on R10

funny I left the older version plugin in there, and it was disabled automaticly

Also I suggest setting the specular/glossy trasnparent precedence default to 10. That can save a lot of headaches :)

Slowly Cindigo is getting there :D

are you going to put in a multiplier factor entry box for RGB absorption/scattering soon?
Otherwise you can't have thin glass with high absorption or use the SSS liquid values for milk and such

that's one of few remaining major issues

CINDIGO 0.9 - BETA 2

download exporter:
PC Version

(or below)

The file contains PC versions for R10 and R9. (R10 users will have to rename the "cindigo0.9.1.cdl_R10" to "cindigo0.9.1.cdl")

please tell me if you find bugs or have specific requests. i will try to fix/implement as fast as possible.

new in 0.9 - beta 2:

* exported meshs are stored in a sub directory (same thing to come for textures, in the next version)
* export without geometry (in the render settings tag)
* export .igm (in the material helper tag, not for blend mats atm)
* about (finally! not final, though)
* i've been messing around with lots of outdated code, so if sth is not working - tell me about it (haven't tested most of it)
* there is some ray_origin_nudge_distance scaling going on, if there are problems with that, let me know (scenes with scales > 1000 should be possible now)
* maybe other stuff, im not a fan of keeping changelogs ;)
* exponent maps (put the map in "Specular Color")

fixed-list 0.9 - beta 2:

* Blend mats
* other stuff i probably forgot about
* rotation bug and other mesh stuff

known bugs/issues 0.9 - beta 2:

* only UVW-mapping supported
* export and run (has a gui, but its not working atm)

features to come in 0.9 - beta 3: (for preventing double and tripple requests)

* .igm import
* better .obj export
* copy textures
* export and run
* material previews
* textured emitters
- tell me if i forgot sth!

let me know if sth is not working :!: :!:

a good tutorial can be found here (only german and italian, hope someone will translate it to english soon).

extraextra: a little baking tutorial

I get an error message with the R10 version when I add a material helper tag - it says can't read the res tag description or something

but works fine when I use the V9.6 one... :?:

try to re-download the file(i updated it). there was a little bug that i fixed.

normals dont get exported right, too. but if you wait a little you'll get a new release with some bugs fixed AND textured emitters!

ok I see the normals problem :)

with the negative bump maps, I was thinking that if this is the case from now on, might not be a bad idea to have Cinidgo invert the bump map value on export, so that when you have a bump map of 0.001, it looks like 0.001 bump map when rendering in Indigo rather than -0.001
that way you don't have to use a negative bump value in Cinidgo

do you understand what I'm saying?

thanks
