Problems with the GPU Rendering because of to huge Szenes

Hi,

I have very huge szenes and small GPU memories ( see attached file...).

The older Indigo Versions have rendered it with GPU-Supporting without any problems . But the newest Indigo is only able to render it completely without GPU only on CPU

Why is there no possibility to render with GPU support anymore in big szenes? Or do I have to change certain settings?

Where can I download again an older Indigo Version or change the settings?

Hi! The new GPU rendering stores all the scene data on the GPU, unlike before. This allows *much* faster rendering, but also means that you can run into memory limits depending on your GPU.

Yeah, I already read this. Makes sense to buffer all in GPU Memory if there is enough...

But now, there is absolutely no chance to use GPU anymore with huge szenes?
Then I need the old one! When did it change? And where can I get this Version?

on the Link, you posted, is Indigo 3.8.33. But that is a Version with also buffering everything in the GPU memory. Or is the problem, that I installed this Version over a newer one?

I have to PC's:
An AMD FX-8350 Eight-Core with AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series

And a MSI GS70 2QE Stealth Pro Silver Edition

Intel i7-4710HQ and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M

There is the possibility to render also at work...

No, 3.8.33 should work the old way. The pure GPU rendering is new for version 4.

You also don't use the latest Indigo v3 build that Oscar linked you above, its 3.8.33!

Thats not the Problem. It's the same with the latest Version...

If you maybe could reduce the scene down to the lightsources you use and if that error still happens, you could upload the scene and the devs can debug and fix it.
