ok question for ono:

I understand when supersample is 1 downsize filter is disabled...says so in the manual
so I made my exporter not write blur, ring etc for this situation but when the .igs loads in indigo it seems to load the default values anyway according to the blurb in the window- is that just the way it looks or is it being used anyway? and shouldnt it be the old box in that case?

also there seems to be a difference in brightness or such between say a supersample 2 with filter and supersample 1 without? filter .. is that right?

It may not use the downsize filter when super sample factor is 1, but it still parses and displays the downsize filter parameters.

It should be the same brightness - make sure you leave the render for a while before you compare brightnesses.

1.ok so there is no harm done by me not exporting it then I guess...

2.I guess it converges to much the same image just slightly different pixels then...I don't know if this has been noticed or mentioned before... might mislead people who do a quickie render to check render settings that their reinhard is off or something
