Re: Indigo Renderer 2.4.4 Beta
That's unfortunately not possible currently, but we will probably implement it.pixie wrote:How does one enable/disable GPU trough comand line?

Re: Indigo Renderer 2.4.4 Beta
It would be good for batch processing of tests, animations...fused wrote:That's unfortunately not possible currently, but we will probably implement it.pixie wrote:How does one enable/disable GPU trough comand line?
Re: Indigo Renderer 2.4.4 Beta
Well... there is some scene xml for it, but I don't know it from the top of my head. We will post more information on it soon

Re: Indigo Renderer 2.4.4 Beta
If you specify <gpu>true</gpu> in the renderer_settings XML it will enable GPU acceleration. Note that this forces bidir and hybrid to false.
Re: Indigo Renderer 2.4.4 Beta
Thanks Lyc ! Is that to say that MLT does benefit from gpu as well ?
Re: Indigo Renderer 2.4.4 Beta
Ah nope, GPU accel doesn't use MLT at the moment. Perhaps in the future

Re: Indigo Renderer 2.4.4 Beta
I forgot to say, it will autodetect a GPU device unless you specify <gpu_device_number> with the GPU device number reported in the GUI.
Re: Indigo Renderer 2.4.4 Beta
Indigo GUI crashes during startup. nvcuda.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Running Windows Vista 32.
Re: Indigo Renderer 2.4.4 Beta
Damn, looks like I forgot to remove that dependency when building the 32bit 2.4.4 - sorry about this, I'll post an updated build soon.
Re: Indigo Renderer 2.4.4 Beta
There's a bug with SSS in 2.4.4 sorry, which we will work on fixing soon. Because the caterpillar uses SSS, it's rendering incorrectly.Yoruneko wrote:Cool interface. Thanks.
I found some problems.
I got some color noise.
This picture's Render Mode is Path Tracing.
Similar noise with Bi-Directional Path Tracing too.
Is this bug or
Have I made a mistake in the setting?
I added a picture with Aperture diffraction.

Thanks for this release. :)
I'm looking forward to the version with GPU support.

It's one line of code away Camox, once set gpu will be used with the Path tracing mode. See the "Mode Configuration" frame in the Indigo Render Settings panel.lycium wrote:If you specify <gpu>true</gpu> in the renderer_settings XML it will enable GPU acceleration. Re: Indigo Renderer 2.4.4 Beta
That will only work with the GPU beta. If you have applied for it (by emailing contact@indigorenderer.com) you'll have an email with the download link and some more information. It was released a day ago or so. (if you havent got an email yet, please pm me or send another email to contact@CTZn wrote:Camox wrote:I'm looking forward to the version with GPU support. It's one line of code away Camox, once set gpu will be used with the Path tracing mode.
