YAY! Finally a direct way :D

One question: is this limited to the camera, or will you also get wave patterns with the double-slit-set-up?

Hi Big Fan,
yes, the previous glare stuff (and bloom) is obsolete.
The code is still in there, but I'll drop it at some point.

ok thanks I'll make some space by chopping those then and rearranging a bit 8)

hmmm blade offset should be linked to f stop shouldnt it?
I mean you wouldnt set that independantly would you?
if you have set an aperture radius say of 1mm = f16 that defines it already...?

Thank you very much Ono!

Does anybody else tried to set "aperture_diffraction" to false?!
For me Indigo always crashes after warm up O_o (Windows Vista 64Bit)

An f/64 results in much bigger glare than f/1...

works fine here.

can I also ask how blade_offset and aperture_radius work together?

what about the size of white area in a aperture_shape::image vs. aperture_radius?

are you performing any white detection and/or image scaling?

I've noticed (and actually, expected) that when using aperture_shape::image the render is a bit out of focus. can the focus be compensated for?

That's a good point, indeed. they should be 1:1, so, it should be given by the f-stop... (maybe not fully... it could be the "maximum" radius, which means, from the pivot to one of the corners...)

I've added a note (Search for 'EDIT' in original post) on how to design your aperture maps, and noted that aperture_radius still works.

Thank you Ono (and Dougal2), I especially apreciate the effort put into explanations. A documented feature is a feature I will use, alas the contrary is also true, objectively.

I think Indigo is ready for the two slits experimentation, and I'm confident on the conclusion, provided that interferences are visible in first post attachments.

Cheers !
