Indigo 2.2.10

Post by OnoSendai » Thu Dec 10, 2009 4:46 pm

The main reason for this release is to try and fix the locale issue some people were having on Linux with e.g. German locale. Let me know if it works.

This is a Beta release.
If you spot any bugs or problems, please make a post about them in this thread.
Thanks!

Indigo for Windows 32-bit:
IndigoRenderer_2.2.10_Setup.exe

Indigo for Windows 64-bit:
IndigoRenderer_x64_2.2.10_Setup.exe

Indigo for Linux 32-bit:
indigo_v2.2.10.tar.gz

Indigo for Linux 64-bit:
indigo_x64_v2.2.10.tar.gz

Changelog:
2.2.10:
* Fixed locale issue when parsing decimal separator.
* Added proper test scenes to Linux builds

I don't know if it is or not related but when I press my period key from key pad it doesn't accept it, I have to pick the virgule from regular keypad, making the workflow a bit clumsy.

I still have a problem with locale settings wich make indigo unusable since a few versions.
Tried with every test scene provided, mat preview scene, etc... Always get the same message :

Code: Select all

A problem occurred with the scene:
TinyXMLWrapperExcep: Parse error while parsing double from '0.6' (In file '/opt/indigo/inifile.xml')
I'm on linux (ubuntu / gnome), locale settings : french. I tried to mess a bit with kde's system settings (changing "decimal separator" value from comma to dot) but no difference).
I really have no clue what to do to make it work.

When trying to run the 64bit linux material editor on a 64bit ubuntu dist, the terminal says:

Code: Select all

Bus error
And then nothing happens.
