Desktop character (fantasy)

Finally got round to testing the latest build of indigo. Rendered on a duel core with 1G of ram for ~16hrs.

Hi I downloaded the model from stanford resources and used ultimate zip to unzip the silly .tar format. Imported to blender.

And using just mesh lights tried to get a subsurface scattering effect.

I'm sorry but I'm following the tutorial and it doesn't help. It just says press the uv button then to map your material as you would do normally in blender. Well how do I uv map a material in blender?! A detailed explanation would help!!!!! P.S I only get something decent now when I use the archima...

Big problems with texture maps

I just don't know what's going on, but when I put a texture map on my floor there is just no detail whatsoever. It's all blurred.

Please please help?
