The specularity can be set in Blender, by using the "spec" slider - which can be between 0 and 2.
The Indigo exporter then converts it to rgb color triplet.

Until now I didn't notice that actually it can be changed by setting the specular color  .

It was generated with 0.6t6-b1 script.
Now I'm trying to make something useful with specular material :).

Material Preview Charts

I've been working in Indigo for some time now and I thought that I could use a instant material preview method. So I made this material calibration chart :). I use Blender, so these test pages are Blender oriented. Right now it's only the phong material, but I want to make specular and bump-height t...

It was rendered in Indigo 0.6. I used Blender exporter 0.6t6-b1.

Here's the scene in xml along with some textures used.

The only light source is the sun. The surfaces of all the objects are closed.

The scene was created in Blender.

Problem with depth of field and caustics

Please look at this render: http://img398.imageshack.us/img398/8282/im1166870695ib1.jpg The focus was on the calculator, and yet some areas are sharp, while others are blurred. There shouldn't be those dof differences. There are problems with depth of field. In my opinion, the light that passes thro...

Well, the goal was to make them look like action figures :). I wanted to use ff7 characters in a bigger scene, as a little decoration.
One thing is sure - Indigo ROCKS :).

Cloud vs Sephy

Ripped from the game, subsurfed, heavily modified, textured, etc... Rendering took 9 hours - it could be less noisy, but I didn't care :). Scene is illuminated by hdri and 2 meshlight reflectors (red and blue). It is not a serious project. I just wanted to toy with my favourite characters and see ho...

That focus is funny thing - i placed it on the face, and it seems out of focus. Maybe it's some kind of a bug... It was rather a test scene that worked out fine, than a complete project. I was working on that models, because I need them as a little detail for a much bigger scene (filled with MY mode...

I was fooling around with FF7 characters. Here's render after 4 days - 2 passes (1 for reflectors and 2 for the sun), combined in Gimp. Modelled with Blender.
How do You like it?
