when rendering, sometimes it only renders for ten minutes sometimes I can make it go up to half an hour. it keeps crashing.

haha, maybe it is. someone allready pointed out that it looks like a matchbox car.

I had to stard over porm a certain point because I lost some files. I had a realy nice windshield before, but you know what they say: "the copy is never better than the original"

[BUG] exporter 0.6 t6 for blender

hello, I wanted to tell you all about something we noticed in the indigo 0.6 t6 exporter recently.
It crashes sometimes, while rendering.
I have a suspicion that it happens when using .exr maps since it allways happens with my car, where I use a .exr map
I though you'd like to know.

Thank for the comments. I acctualy checked the headlights: due to the sun from my .exr env_map it reflects like chrome but is acctualy glass. btw, indigo 0.6 t6 for blender keeps crashing after a while when I try rendering this car. IanC had the same and I pmed you about it. The wheels, I was to laz...

you know, we saw it in optics, a chapter of physics. the IOR of glass IS 1.57. we had to calculate that :P

If you didn't put, like, five windows in a row I don't see how they give those weird pieces.

Hi Jacco, don't guess too much, EXR works well for most peoples with exporter script :wink: ... just set the params on exporter GUI :roll: ("Env Type" to "Map", On "Probe" field you can set the EXR filename without path and ensure when starting indigo the EXR file sitting in same directory as the X...

I searched for the bit about the exr map in my xml. been doing that few a few days. never found it. something with the exports script I guess. where should I fit it in?
