Your exporter (RC3) is working very well so far. The only little bug I found so far is, that it doesn't scale the camera focus point according to the scene's scaling but assumes 1 SI unit = 1 meter instead. Oh, and I'd be more than happy to test a 64 bit version because you don't have the hardware t...

Great stuff!

Thank you very much for this updated exporter.

P.S.: Is there a 64 bit compile in the plans? ;)

Very nice to hear that, rgigante! :) With the new rendering improvements in XSI v6, will it be possible to integrate it into the "Renderer Options" of XSI? If this is not possible (or too much work / research) I would prefer a solution like the Blendigo exporter for Blender, where you assign normal ...

If there is no lightsource (sun, meshlight) in the scene or the light is pointing in the wrong direction (e.g. if the normals of a meshlight point in the wrong direction and don't hit anything in the scene) the image will render completely white because of the tonemapping. If you load such an IGI in...

Working great so far (OK didn't have any time for deeper investigation), but one thing that I'd change is, that it tries to export "Scene Material", which is the default material in any XSI scene (no one uses it though ;) ) and throws a warning because it has no IndigoMaterial property assigned. It ...

Thank you very much!!! I just installed it and at first sight everything is running smoothly under XSI v6!!
I hope I find enough time during the next days to test it extensively!!

Great and so well integrated!

The "imf_copy.exe" commandline tool coming with XSI ( C:\Softimage\XSI_5.11\Application\bin ) is able to both copy and convert images in one step. I'm not a coder / scripter, but I know it can be called in scripts. Would be a great feature :)

Looking better and better! :)

BTW, as the classic noicon.pic is in Softimage PIC format: does your exporter support automatic texture conversion (to PNG or JPG) and/or does it copy the textures to a /textures subfolder in the indigo install dir?

I just visited the indigo blog site and saw that v0.6 was released. Plus it said:
Indigo exporter plugins are available for 3dsMax, Blender, Cinema4d, Maya, Rhino and XSI
XSI exporter in the official release announcement? Is this some insider information or am I missing something? :)

:D Awesome!

Looks very promising! I like the nkdata-selection stuff.
Still can't wait to export my first indigo scene directly from XSI.
