Displacement/Bump on Xfrog External Mesh Materials
I'm using the external mesh feature to instance Xfrog trees in .obj format. Everything's working great, but I can't figure out how to apply displacement or bump mapping to the materials since they're not mapped to any geometry within the SketchUp model. Is this even possible on an external mesh?

Re: UV Mapping Help in 3.0.14
Using a texture instead of a color does yield different results, but they're still not correct on my end. The coordinates of the displacement map are now being determined by the applied material. Again I tested it with a 1ft x 1ft cube. My custom placement is still being ignored. When the metal mate...

Re: UV Mapping Help in 3.0.14
I just tried it both ways. First with the red material applied to the faces, and the SU default material applied to the group. Then reversed, with the SU default material applied to the faces, and the red material applied to the group. My UV map was ignored in both cases. However... I did get two di...

UV Mapping Help in 3.0.14
I'm having trouble mapping an external displacement texture to faces with a color material only. I go through all the motions for adding a new external texture, and my positioned displacement map seems to save correctly, but then my map coordinates are always overridden by the SketchUp default coord...

Re: Light Brightness Issues
A few people suggested I try using 3.0.14, and that's solved the problem. Frutiger, any luck solving this issue, or are you still having to use 3.0.14? I'm having the same problem, and I'd love to be able to move to 3.0.15 especially for its export speed, but without a solution to this bug I can't ...

I'm getting a permissions denial when trying to download the Mac version. All others work fine. Is it available now?

GPU Acceleration on Macs
I'm having trouble rendering with GPU acceleration. When the option is activated (from either the Skindigo or Indigo interface), the render seems to freeze just before the first image update occurs. No errors, just no activity. If the option is not activated, the scene renders just fine. See the att...

Are AMD/ATI GPUs supported under Mac OS X?
Is it true that GPU acceleration isn't supported for Macs with AMD/ATI cards? If not, any idea when this will be implemented?

Re: Disappearing Material Editor - OSX
Could the problem have something to do with the "Make Unique Texture" command in SketchUp? I noticed that the Material Editor doesn't recognize materials created this way in SketchUp. Also, the "infection" seems to take place after I've used this command to create a new material. If I remove that pa...
