Material ID colors

I've noticed in the past few releases that Material ID rendering has become significantly less useful. Whenever I try a Material ID render now Indigo assigns the same exact color to numerous materials in my model, essentially making the image useless. I've attached an example image to illustrate my ...

Skindigo Bug

I've been noticing that there is a bug with the external texture dialogue box in Skindigo for a while now. If I open up the dialogue to load a texture (bump map for instance) and then for whatever reason don't end up choosing a file to load and cancel out of the dialogue menu it freezes up and cause...

SketchUp texture changes not translating to Indigo

I've noticed that in the last few versions of Skindigo that changes I've made to textures in sketchup (adjusting saturation, brightness, etc.) have not been translating into Indigo. It seems that once the texture is loaded into Indigo the first time I render a model, that is the texture it will use ...

Re: SkIndigo 3.8.24 (beta)

I too am having the problem of scattered objects not having the correct materials. In my case the scattered objects are linked obj files and they are rendering with the 'default' material.

Re: Object scattering with linked external meshes?

And just for reference: the proxy model is updating correctly by itself so there is no problem with the file link.

Object scattering with linked external meshes?

I'm trying to achieve a scatter effect for a proxy model which is linking to an external igmesh, but it only scatters the proxy model and does not replace them with the linked mesh. Is there a way to achieve this currently?

Black Glass

Sorry for the essay, but this is a problem I really want to solve: I have been using Skindigo for quite a while now and every so often when I make a window system with multiple sheets of glass and then render it, some of the sheets of glass render completely black. I have seen this topic a million t...

Problems with instanced lights

I'm noticing that with skindigo 3.2 whenever I copy a component with a light source inside it, only the instances actually render as light sources, the original component definition does not emit any light. I have attached a sample image demonstrating this. All the objects in the scene are the same ...

No displacement in instanced components.

I am using Indigo 3.0.10 and Skindigo 3.0.10 and I noticed that any textures I have with displacement enabled stop subdividing when I put them inside a component and enable instancing. Is this a bug or is there something else I need to do?

Re: Network Rendering Issue

I seem to have pinpointed the problem, and it's very strange. The problem starts as soon as I switch tonemapping from Reinhard to Camera. I went and checked the slave machines and they were displaying this error message: Indigo Driver Exception: Already failed loading this scene before, abandoning l...

Network Rendering Issue

I just upgraded to Indigo 3 today and now I keep getting the following error message when I try to use network rendering:

WARNING: Discarded received frame, as incoming scene sequence number 0 does not match current scene sequence number 4.

Does anyone know the cause of this?

Re: Instancing Components

I tried this instancing method and I got the model to load into indigo with all the correct materials, but it doesn't seem to keep the tree object in the correct location or orientation. No matter how far I zoom out, when the image loads in indigo the tree is always appearing right in front of the c...
