I try to understand SSS in Indigo/Blendigo but I can get just black material.
I ve tried to find any tutorials or examples about Subsurface scattering but without success.
Could you give me any solution or source of knowledge about SSS ?
hey,
2BU is like 2m, 0.2 BU is like 20 cm, dont say me that 20cmx20cmx10cm cube behave like that, it has no color.
Maybe reason is in Material Settings, but where ?
I ve unwraped my mesh, placed it in UVEditor, put Texture into material and rendered. Everything OK but I ve decided to change SIZE and PLACEof my mesh in UVEditor.
So i ve done it.
I ve started to render but Texture on my object is still the same (like befor changing).
Why ?
ok, thanks, i ve checked it - very useful.
Are ABC calculations with bump or displacement the same like with Exponent ? the same I mean = A*Tex^2+B*Tex+C.
could someone tell me or give me any source of knowledge about using A, B, C values in Albedo, Bump, Exponent and Displace ?
What are these values standing for?
