Thats strange KB!

I just tryed on my pc at work, and its still working just fine.

The attatched image shows how it looks when only one edge is soften to 180 degrees!

I use the 32 bit version and I have no problems with the usage of ram. My pc has only 2 GB installed.

I've been playing around with the displacement function and maybe I found out something interesting. The attatched image i made by selecting the box, apply the material, and then soften the edges to 180 degrees. When softening the edges the problem with gap between the faces disappear. Was this new ...

Hi arcano Welcome to the club! I've made the material you can't make work and I've have had the same problem until for a couple of days ago! Now the quick solution: Make a image map in a clean white color and use it as texture for the material. Make sure that the texture scale is the same as the bum...

Ok! Thanks for the replys!

Now that I primary work with archviz it woult be nice if the texture scale was saved within the material, because the size of e.g. floorplanks are the same from model to model.

But maybe its not important if you work with other kinds of 3D stuff!

Thats ok!

Anyway, If this is a general problem then I think its important, because it will limit the speed of setting up a scene on basis of a good material library!

Have anyone experienced the same problem?

Doug Armand: Thought it was obvious now that its the Sketchup section! I use Sketchup 6 and SKindigo/Indigo 1.1.5. Try to download the Floor_Pinewood_Plank material from the database, I uploaded it yesterday! When loading it you will see that the texture map is not 160x300 cm as when I saved ...

When loading materials I just packed the texture is out of scale!
Does anyone know why and is it's possible to keep the correct scale?

Good luck!

Material Library?

Hi

Are there any plans about making a material library function for SKindigo?

Now that we have this fantastic material database it would be greate to make a personal library where you could preview alle the favorit materials from within sketchup.
