The black areas is just on the brickwall in this shot, two of them. The groundtexture looks bad cause I tried bump on a single highres texture, handpainted in ps, 8192x6352, so the dots on the ground is just my bad.... Tiling an unwrapped texture could look nice as a diffuse map, but since multiple ...

This is my last upload regarding this project  Indigo started to crash, didnt matter what I did. I could use the new maxigo with the latest 32-bit build, with some black areas. Not normals, dont know why. Tried to go back to my latest 64-bit build, but it only crashed. I know what mesh and when...

And if blender still is a free program, then why not. Gonna check for shure. But not with this scene. To late know. Maybe this is gonna be finishe...

//It's cute ! Are you sticking to original materials ?// Yeah, so far. I had a problem trying to guess the yellow color though. Maybe I gonna bake that later and paint some small amount of dirt. I cant get multiple uv channels to work. So it´s not easy without masking. The concrete texture is only a...

//but don't overdo violets chromatic aberration // Mmm, but I love it soo mutch.... Makes it look warm and analog :) Like old film in the camera. But I agree, I will try not to overdo it. I didnt stop the render, so I could upload a clean, without any post done. But I need to wait so there will be a...

Start of adding detail, etc.

Added some more detail, and textures.
Trying to keep everything like my ref. A lot nicer, not like brand new, neither condemned like it is.

One hour and ten minutes rendering :)

Cheers

A small castle.

This was one of thoose projects I started but never finished. I think it´s time to finish-of this one. This is a small Condemned castle in the village I live in. The owner who have money, "family to the Swedish King" refuses to pay for the restoration. He want the gov to pay, if they want it to be l...

//if i were you, i would try with a green light// I could try a fill light, if it doesnt work, I agree. I dont have to use it. Green color is a color I would belive in to. There is already orange lights and some blue color from the environment that find it´s way. When I color adjusted the Image in p...

Thanks for the comments, I wanted it to be high contrast, but as I knew whats what and where it is. I never thought other people would have a problem to understand my layout. This is my fault, bad POV. I think I could try another camera insted of lighting the interior up even more. It should be dark...

Arrival

3dsMax and Maxigo.
The cherub was borrowed from the Doom 3 "Id software" imported into 3dsmax using an md5 import script.

I needed a character like that, so I just added a few polys. All posters are just some renderings I made earlier. Some adjustments in Violet and later ps.

Cheers

Orange Tree

This was my first testrender using Indigo. The glossy reflections is by far the best I´ve seen. Compared the scene using Fry Render and Maxwell. The first "main" reason for me to test Indigo was there is no support for 3dsmax 2009 yet, in other unbiased render engines. I had to use an old version of...
