May I ask how the details of the fireplace were modelled ? I too use Blender, and the only problem I have is modelling this kind of things...did you use sculpting ?

The thing ( naked guy, dog, etc) you see is nothing more than the foreground chromed thing. ;)

Very nice render BTW, is there any chance you can explain us if everything is modelled, or if there is some displacement, and if there is, where did you get the maps ?
