Works fine here on ArchLinux 32 bit, both console and GUI version. :D
Note: on the same OS, the Windows version with Wine 0.9.59 is a bit faster than the native Linux version.

Re: Still no go....

manuel That did not solve the issue either. Getting the same error as everyone else... my wine version: wine-0.9.25 Ubuntu (Gutsy) AMD64 kernel I've tested this solution on OSX and Ubuntu 7.04 64bit, both with Wine 0.9.43; your Wine version is a bit outdated, add the WineHQ APT Repository and updat...

Wine solution (tested on OSX with a clean wine 0.9.43 installation from sources): - "Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package" NOT needed; - Create in the indigo directory a new text file named "Microsoft.Windows.Common-Controls.manifest" with this content: <?xml version="1.0" encoding=...

Thanks, anyway test 5&6 (32bit) on linux + wine 0.9.43 (with or without "Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86)") don't works ("MSVCR80.dll" failed to initialize).
No problem with test 4.

Playing with materials I've found a similar problem (maybe it's correlated); I've recreated the effect with a simple cube scene.

There are other 2 little problems: "Indigowrapper.conf" must be named "IndigoWrapper.conf" with the "W" upper case. If an object is deleted and there are NONE selected, the script returns "NameError: global name 'activeObjectMat0' is not defined"; just select another object to get rid of the error. :o

With Wine 0.9.42, just install the "Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package (x86)" and delete
  • "Microsoft.VC80.CRT.manifest"
    "msvcp80.dll"
    "msvcr80.dll"
from the indigo folder.

Emitters without Efficacy scale rendering well, but with - stay dark :( Same problem here. This is another test with the original "arealight.blend" Blender test scene exported with Blendingo and default settings (black background) plus a simple mesh emitter, white color and NO efficacy scale: why t...

Yes, really wonderful!
Works perfectly on Ubuntu 7.04 64bit with Wine 0.9.42, and don't needs 7.0 CRT.
Anyway, I need to install "Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package (x86)" for 8.0 CRT compatibility (maybe caused by last wine update).

Great job!

Thank you SmartDen for your great Blendigo!
PS: I have to rename the script from "blendigo_v0.9 beta 3s.py" to "blendigo_v0.9_beta_3s.py" eliminating spaces, otherwise Blender can find it only at the first launch. Tested on OSX and Linux.
