Re: Indigo for Revit

Benn,

I'm actually more interested in a fix for the decimal number output, so I don't have to change my regional settings every time I want to work with Revigo.

Re: Indigo for Revit

I've done a few renders on a simple classroom team project for my school. Everything works without a hitch in revit 2010. I dont like that when in a custom made 3d view you cannot click on any of the indigo add in buttons, you must change to the simple {3d} view or any other view (floor plan, etc),...

Re: Indigo for Revit

I just downloaded the Indigo for Revit plugin and I already have a bug/omission report, and since I'm not sure where to post it, I'll post it here and you can direct me to the proper place for (hopefully rare) future bug reports. Since my Windows are using non-english regional settings, so does the ...

Actually, I believe there are quite a few Indigo users (like me) who read the forums regularly, but don't post. It's nice to be a registered user because the system tracks your visits and indicates the threads that contain new messages since your last visit. And since the system knows when you last ...

sfaust, Yep, I've taken a good look, and encountered a bit of a problem, so I gave it up for a while and focused on other things. Currently, I can read the geometry just fine, that's no real problem. Even the geometry of family references (doors, windows etc.) can be transformed from their object co...

I would like to suggest a new "weight" item for the material that would simply tell indigo how many samples per pass to calculate when it hits that specific material (I guess it would be meaningful for directly visible objects or specular reflection, not as much for diffuse reflection). I think that...

Unfortunately, there is no scripting support in Revit, but there is a very powerful .net 2.0 API.

I've taken a quick look at the SDK and from what I've seen, an exporter is quite possible. I'll try to write a proof-of-concept exporter and notify you of results.
