Re: Skatter extension : grass = black render
Been checking and testing a bit more. Seems this only happens when using skatter plugin to create grass or plans. When I disable the skatter content, the gpu acceleration works fine. Strange thing is though that on some designs it does work, and it gives me a black screen on others. Any idea? The lo...

Skatter extension : grass = black render
I'm trying out the skatter extension, and when applying a grass structure to a group, the preview render window shows the grass just fine, but the main render window stays black. For several presets like daisies it works fine, but for grass I cannot seem to get this to work. Any advice? edit: seems ...

Grass rendering completely wrong
Whenever I try to render a scene which has grass (downloaded from the skindigo material library), I get this weird rendering with planes in all directions. When I replace the texture with a 'normal' texture, it works fine. Looking for a way to render a decent grass plane. http://i.imgur.com/Yd4jLgn....

Re: Indoor lights with sun enabled (newbie)
I'm trying out Indigo RT which seems to have no different light layers. Mind this is pure personal use, so I cannot buy the more expensive version.

Yeah I tried that, but it doesn't seem to work. Even when I set the light power to like 20.000 (candela) it's not showing up.

Indoor lights with sun enabled (newbie)
I'm just trying out Indigo RT for the first time. I want to render a scene where I created a poolhouse in Sketchup. There's a large part with windows in this poolhouse and I want to render an outdoor view. Problem is, the indoor part needs to be lit up a bit too since otherwise the interior renders ...
