Re: Workstation question - serious.
Hi
How far away are we from the opencl gpu renderer? I am working now with octane but not happy with the quality , would love to jump into indigo wagon..
also, will there be any loss in capabilities/quality from indigo cpu to indigo pure gpu?
thanks in advance

Re: RhIndigo - Indigo for Rhinoceros 5.0 thread
hi there! this is great news!
when you talk about integrate Indigo into the viewports would that mean we could navigate somehow real-time into the rendered model? and see changes to the geometry immediately appear on the render?
regards
tom

Re: multiple UV-mapping sets
hi bosseye! I think what's confusing people is the fact there is no apply button on active mesh settings. so it looks like the changes you make won't stick, but it does. All you have to do is choose another channel under UV MAPPING/ UV SET other than the sketchup one and attach the texture you will ...

Re: displacement
no.. it was just to illustrate a case with a complex envelope; i meant.. just imagine you have to do such façade, with expanded metal and some big openings (no mix of holes+expanded..sorry to create confusion)

Re: displacement
@bubs thanks for the tip, but the dummies strategy wouldn't be practical on models with complex envelopes where openings/boundaries don't follow horizontal vertical modulated patterns
@ono i will model myself one piece and send it to you if that helps

Re: displacement
thanks a lot for all the replies! and congrats to the indigo team, the quality of the lighting produced is just one step ahead of the competition IMHO. might use the summer to jump in if I find enough time.. @ono do you see a workaround for the extended gap problem at the beginning of the cut (no ta...
