I am new to creating my own materials and I may be jumping the gun on this one, buuuuut...I would like to create a linked mesh material (see upload). Each individual link is a ring.

So, how would I go about achieving this?

Hi there!

Would any of you know how to apply a shimmer-y texture to a material? I have a wallcovering that I need to render and it as a slight shimmer/sheen to it and would like that to come across, so any help that can be given would be greatly appreciated!
