Re: Additional Plugin Folders.rb Conflict with skindigo.rb
Yeah I use the additional folders plugin to link up to my dropbox account so I can share my plugins across a number of work stations in different offices. I use Indigo on one computer so have left skindigo in the default plugins folder, which causes the conflict with the additional folder plugin. I ...

Additional Plugin Folders.rb Conflict with skindigo.rb
Hi there,
I seem to be having this conflict between skindigo.rb and additionalpluginfolders.rb when they are both in the default plugins folder, though if I only use one at a time it is fine. When both installed together Sketchup crashes on startup. Is this an issue that can be resolved?
Cheers

Re: Sun through window problem
Cheers for your feedback guys. Yeah I think I'll remove the glass planes all together as like you say they aren't a huge part of the scene in terms of reflection etc... Yeah I am slowly learning about materials and how they work too. The previous render had minimal work done to the textures, was jus...

Re: Sun through window problem
O is there a way to determine what material will be causing the problems or is it best to go through them all manually??

Re: Sun through window problem
Cheers, Yeah I noticed that some other windows that I had developed from this original window component were working fine (without the framing missing). In the end I rejiged these windows to have the exit portal protruding through the surfaces they were touching and made the glass double sided and p...

Sun through window problem
Hi there, Just having this problem with my windows, below are two examples. One is the original window as a component with exit portal on the outside and the other exploded component window with exit portal on the outside. For some reason the component window has the outer frame missing while the on...

Re: Render crashes after an hour every time!
Ok will hold off playing around with it anymore until I check the fan and sort out the potential dust problem. Yeah the first render that I retested kept rendering past where the 2nd one failed, though the cpu heat definitely got up there (see attached). I thought the slave problem was also solved t...

Re: Render crashes after an hour every time!
Hi there, I've been getting the same type of issue with my computer as well. At first no problems rendering this one http://www.indigorenderer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=11725 Now have started on a smaller model and I noticed the side of my laptop was getting quite hot. The render would just shu...

Re: Materials creating funny effect
Yeah definitely, been jigging up some of the sketchup materials for this render though will look at finding some better ones. With the grass I ended up reducing the size significantly so it doesn't seem so tiled
