I don't think that's what happened.
I have the Indigo program - I can open it.
But when I open SketchUp I get a screen saying: Locate Indigo.exe
Doing a global Search finds that there is no Indigo.exe on my computer
Search found 8 matches

Indigo asks for Indigo.exe
Downloaded the demo. Open SketchUp and I get a screen asking where indigo.exe is. There is no indigo.exe on my computer. Can't get out of the cycle of the Indigo asking where indigo.exe is so I have to uninstall the Indigo demo in order to use SketchUp.

Re: longer is not necessarily better
..not exactly the better : the more correct , we should say. I think that's a good distinction. I re-rendered the image and stopped at about 45 minutes, when the highlights were the most pronounced. I know the project manager was going to like that one more and ... well, she pays the bills. Continu...

longer is not necessarily better
I'm a novice so bear with me - I assumed that longer rendering times would always produce a better image with a rendering application like Indigo. But I'm finding that isn't necessarily so. The image on the right cooked for about half an hour. Notice how the leg of the table at the bottom concentrat...

Re: RT vs Renderer
Thanks for the reply.
I guess I should focus on light layers while I have the demo to get a better sense of what it is and how it might be important to me.

RT vs Renderer
I can't justify buying another application right now (but then I couldn't justify any of the other programs I own and use), but damn, Indigo sure produces a beautiful image. Some questions - can you upgrade your license from RT to Renderer after your initial purchase? - the 3 features that distingui...

Re: 2 questions
Thanks for the replies.
I reset the scene as per your advice and left for work. Will see the results when I get back this evening.
Is this the mythological 'one button rendering app'?

2 questions
Playing around with Indigo demo. Very impressed considering I did nothing other than click render. But two questions - why the line of light at the point where the carpet (displaced) meets the wall and what to do about the fireflies?
Thanks in advance
