Re: Cinema 4D R14

Did you notice that speedup under 10.7 either? I know you mean 10.8 -right? - the answer is no. In fact pretty much the same -only within system based apps ie spotlight within finder/dialogue windows seems to be a bit faster but that's about it. To be fair what would speed up the mac right now is a...

Re: Cinema 4D R14

Great news! Did you mean that texture loading runs a lot faster when being exported through Indigo, or did you mean in general? Well I guess it pertains to both - I have tried a normal c4d file, c4d & Indigp, " & Maxwell, " & Thea - all very very zippy - (I'm mac based and it's been a nightmare for...

Cinema 4D R14

FYI - All seems to be working fine within the new demo version of R14 (maxon posted the demo version today)

Texture loading before rendering seems to be a lot faster - and be prepared for some whizzy action when you change camera views

Re: Remove unused materials (no biggy)

Hi - I'm addressing both at once here (my lighting issue and the unused mat). So here is my test scene (a knocked down version of the original (see attachment image) - I have tried to go down the camera tone mapping route and some odd stuff is happening in particular to the carpet (has gone black wh...

Re: Remove unused materials (no biggy)

I will do - but I think it's clear as day what the issue is - after having just read a thread called "Crazy Lighting" and.... Rheinhard is the keyword. My issue was my scene was continuously auto correcting itself while adjusting the light layers - turn the lights down - the background would bump up...

Re: Remove unused materials (no biggy)

Hi - to clarify - it's no issue - just pointing it out. Imagine 10 indigo materials are in the browser (unused) by selecting remove unused materials it only deletes the first it comes to in the browser window - then stops - so you need to repeat the process until all clean (I am on a mac). I can sec...

Remove unused materials (no biggy)

When cleaning up a scene, if you run the material function "remove unused materials" it is non-recursive with Indigo materials - so you have to keep selecting it until all mats are removed. I'm starting to get the hang of it now, and must congratulate all involved again - very smart. Still a little ...

Re: Basic Material Library

Thanks for the replies - I know this is in the wrong area probably BUT how can you get rendering the sunlight and spot lights (or emitters) to work at the same time - one will work but never together for me at the moment

Basic Material Library

Hi - I have been away from Indigo for nearly 2years - got an email yesterday regarding the new integration with C4D - installed the demo last night - bought it 3hrs later and still haven't slept  It's awesome. Well done to you all. I currently use Thea that comes with a lb4d file containing a...

PSD layered file support for shaders

Hello all - this is my first post, I stumbled across Indigo by accident on the web, I currently use Cinema4d and Maxwell (well I try to use Maxwell but 99% of the time fall back to AR) and must say so far Indigo looks very promising (even more so after seeing the r3 version on youtube with live upda...
