Re: Can't have physical sky+sun and light materials.

I didn't have a sun lamp in the scene, so that was probably the problem. I'm still confused about one thing though. If the scene required a sun lamp, why did the scene work without a sun lamp before I added the lights?

Re: Can't have physical sky+sun and light materials.

Do you need a render or settings? If so, what settings do you need?

Re: Can't have physical sky+sun and light materials.

If it's an exporter issue, how can I fix it? I've had this problem on all of my interior models and have just dealt with it.

Re: Can't have physical sky+sun and light materials.

I tried setting it to both camera and linear, but still no sun. Any other ideas?

Re: Can't have physical sky+sun and light materials.

No matter how much I change the power of the light material, nothing changes. They are either on or off. The only way I could do that was to turn gain completely off, then the lights went off and the sun came in. But when I turned gain up even to 0.0001, the lights are back to their usual power and ...

Re: Can't have physical sky+sun and light materials.

Turning up the light strength wont do anything though, will it? I need both sun and lights, and right now I'm getting just lights.

Re: Can't have physical sky+sun and light materials.

The second picture I have it set to Physical Sky+Sun and has no lights. The first is what happened when I added four squashed spheres with light emitting materials, without changing any other settings outside of materials. When I hit render the environment option switches from physical sky+sun to ba...

Can't have physical sky+sun and light materials.

Why wont indigo let me have sun coming through a window and have objects with light emitters at the same time?

Re: Can't render more than one light?

I posted my latest render over at Blenderartists, but now the front of the counter seems that it isn't getting enough light, even though I added 8 more, larger lights. Also, where is the igmesh file? And great job on the 93 Tram 2 render on the home page!

Re: Can't render more than one light?

It's telling me that I need to have it set to background color, environment map, or physical sky and sun, but not None (lit by mesh emitters.) Does this mean that I can't use the light bulbs anymore, or will they still work?

Re: Can't render more than one light?

I added some ceiling lights and am rendering it again, but I was wondering something. This has nothing to do with the lighting issue, but I removed the two walls that aren't in view because I read somewhere that you should have open space so the photons don't bounce around an infinite number of time...
