Gradient ramp takes a long time to export.

Just something I noticed. Gradient ramp seems to take a long time to export compared to other maps (gradient/noise/etc).

It's probably not relevant to 3dsMax, but in Maya this would happen if the simple texture was applied to a bunch of similar shapes combined into one mesh (eg: the leaves of a tree, a common use for a ramp texture). Maya would sample each leaf UVs, delivering the same result for each (and every) one of them, up to the last leaf. The work around was to add a checkbox to sample the texture once on a virtual space... light fast.

yeah sorry, probably a pointless intervention as it could be a sampler issue as well :/
