Fur test

Hello all, i realized this first test to make the fur....
I used the module hair & fur of 3dmax , do you know other methods?
I hope that you like it

Nope, don't know any other methods for doing fur in Max.
You can also use it for things like grass and etc.

Here's my small test I made with Hair & Fur (rendered in Indigo of course).
Not very photoreal from close up, but should be quite ok from the distance.

Nice test suvakas ! In fact, apart the shader it's really looking good, shadows are just too strong and material a bit dull. Fur is doing well !

I can only do diffuse material in current "work in progress" Maxigo.
No other shaders or textures yet. :)

I don't have 2009, but I will download the trial and test before the release. Older scripts should run just fine on new Max versions though.

I ido not understand if you are creating the new versio maxigo with this feature.
as you realized your test?

No, it is standard Hair and Fur and not a new feature.
The scene is exported using my work in progress Maxigo version, but it doesn't really matter.
