MAX to OBJ

Post by aleksandera » Fri Jan 23, 2009 1:18 am

I'd like to import this modell in Blender, but the closes format would be OBJ file.
Can someone export it for me in OBJ from MAX?

Thank you!

I guess this is the only forum, where Max is dead!
Keep it that way. I have it by now.

Cheers!

Hi, I have the scene for you, but is a 17 Mb zip file.
How can I send it to you?

Yes I have it.

The only problem is, that it is all in treangles.

Is this the only way, ore can it be exported in quads?

Sorry, I exported as quads but there are too many polys that is not possible to convert all of them to quads, tried to convert to lwo but the same happened. :(

Rafaello, if you feel cooperative you can split the mesh in parts (five to ten) and process thoses. Stitching them back is not an issue for us. Yes, I'm interested too !

Either ways it's ok, I have my own model to fiddle with ;)
