How to lock which viewport to render?

Post by Doug Armand » Fri May 16, 2008 5:51 pm

Hi,

Is there any way to set/lock which viewport to render from 3DS Max?.

I know its a small thing but the number of times I've ended up rendering the wrong viewport it's getting tiring

Nope.
Not at the moment. Indigo camera gets it's settings only from the active view.
Uncheck "geometry" and "scene" if you want to change the view quickly. Exporting should take only like 3 secs or so.
It's an interesting point though. I'll add it to my to-do list.

Impressively fast reply thanks.

Not a major problem as I'm slowly getting used to it but would be a nice noobie feature :D
