What tone mapping do you use? If you use Reinhard then switch to
camera instead. Does the ies render if no skylight is used? Does it
happen with all ies files in this scene or just with this one?

Please check that. ;o))

The default set of IES lights are not powerful enough to use with the sun.
Maybe try increasing the lumen output in the actual IES file? (I don't know how to do this exactly but I saw it mentioned somewhere on the forum in the past)

@neepneep

I'm not sure if I can confirm this. I've had a test going on with lots of
glass planes and skylight/ies lighting the scene. I was interested how
well Indigo will converge because of so much glass in front of the
camera. Here ya go ...

neepneep, you can simply open the IES and multiply *all* the values by, say, 10.
Nice psor :)
Why if off
Does that mean, "Why does it look like if it was off?" or "Why doesn't it render when off?"?

I wouldn't edit the ies files tho. They are all as they should be, but you need
to take care of your tone mapping. Of course some ies files do not work, as
already mentioned in some threads, because Indigo does not support all
kinda ies ... it was something like 180° ... dunno, I already forgot about it.

That's why I did ask if he tried some more ies files ...

@metapixel

Don't worry about your English mate, it's all good and Kram is just playing. ;)
So a quick question for you. Which exporter version are you using? :D ;)

edit: My point is, that if you use a version before Maxigo v1.03.5,
then there is no ies support! :P :D :D ;)

It's not your fault. suvakas should have Mod rights so he can make
"sticky" posts. The problem here is, all the important posts vanish
after a while ... :roll: :wink:

Have fun with the new version, it's really cool! suvakas did a great job! 8)
