I promise that I will look into it. Hold on.
I have another one of those busy times again. Huge visualisation projects are on my responsibility. I'm geting like 4 hours a sleep at nights.
I will return to Maxigo when it's all over. To be honest, I'm currently kind of overloaded by 3D and computers in general.
I'd like to take a huge amount of alcohol and forget the world around me for a brief moment  I'm waiting for the weekend already

lol
I accidentally turned Max into Paint while trying to find some ways to implement the region rendering for Indigo.
I thought it was funny so I made a screen crab.

Strange. I got that it should be in flash format.
Nevermind then. I used the first free screen recorder that poped up from google. Seems it doesn't work.
There is nothing that important so i'm not going to waste any time on it. 8)

@suvakas

Just out of curiosity, isn't it possible to somehow use the "rectangle"
that 3dsmax is offering when it comes to region/blowup rendering?

That would be very cool. If not, well I guess you'll find another way!

:D :D ;)

Ah, BbB was right :)
Great, lol!
actually an interesting feature (though maybe not for Indigo users...)
You could model a scene and then "paint" (on) it xD
(though a screen capture + PS or GIMP or something should work even better^^)

I would have used the standard region tools, but I can't find a way how to call them from maxscript. They are only accessible when starting a new rendering via standard Max render panel. That would make it very messy for the user. User would have to go F10 -> press render -> drag the region -> got to Maxigo panel -> enable region rendering -> press Export. Don't like this kind of way at all.

So that leaves me no other options but to write my own region tool that would somehow work straight from Maxigo panel. Now this would never be as good as build in one. Also if i fail to do so, then there is always this messy workaround I can use. It's better than nothing.
